Responsibilities
- Recommend enterprise reference architectures for AI-related solutions.
- Design end-to-end pipelines for Generative AI, Machine Learning, and agentic workflows.
- Evaluate technical feasibility and conduct rapid prototypes, POCs, and MVPs.
- Define technical requirements, model dependencies, integration points, effort estimates, and resource needs.
- Optimize architectures for scalability, latency, cost efficiency, token management, reliability, and sustainable operations.
- Establish architectural patterns for AI safety, bias mitigation, human-in-the-loop components, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Provide technical oversight, architecture reviews, mentorship, and leadership across AI implementation teams.
- Design and execute technical assessments of AI models and emerging technologies.
- Apply LLM validation frameworks to assess performance, accuracy, safety, and technical suitability.
- Review external AI products and services for architectural fit and integration readiness.
- Maintain reusable AI architecture patterns, component templates, and concise documentation for governance and auditability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience designing end-to-end technical architectures for Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Machine Learning and Software Architecture.
- Proven experience conducting technical feasibility assessments, rapid prototyping, POCs, and MVPs.
- Experience with enterprise-scale systems, security standards, and AI governance.
- Expertise in AI design patterns such as RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows, plus model evaluation frameworks.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to optimize architectures for scalability, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Professional proficiency in English; Italian or additional European languages are a plus.
