Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand application needs and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
- Design, develop, enhance, test, debug, and support web, console, desktop, and distributed software applications.
- Develop APIs, web services, database functionality, and software supporting platform infrastructure and applications.
- Measure and optimize system performance, reliability, quality, stability, and time-to-market.
- Lead multiple active project initiatives, estimate implementation work, and contribute to design documents and project artifacts.
- Perform complex issue triage across multiple technology platforms and vendors.
- Review code and work products, establish best practices, and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior team members.
- Partner with development teams and IT leaders to track project goals, quality, schedules, progress, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain corrective-action lists and conduct monthly reviews of trends and recommended changes.
- Keep applications, software, and hardware up to date.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology.
- At least 7 years of software development experience in the IT industry.
- Development experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, .NET, XML, jQuery, JSON, and related web technologies.
- Expertise developing APIs and web services using SOAP and RESTful approaches.
- Extensive relational database experience, including SQL, DML, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Experience with AngularJS, Angular, React, ReactJS, and Node.js development frameworks.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging applications in e-commerce, services, finance, billing and payment, user and account management, insurance, and banking domains.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools including GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, and Cursor.
- Familiarity with responsive and accessible web design and development practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with testing, defect prevention, quality management, CI/CD processes, and DevOps tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Git, and Confluence.
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks, work independently, communicate effectively, and help lead and mentor software development teams.
