Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, deploy, and maintain components and microservices for the core job management pipeline.
  • Build and operate highly available, scalable Java services and AWS-native data infrastructure processing petabytes of data daily.
  • Develop MCP-enabled AI interfaces that allow agents to create and run data pipelines.
  • Drive deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines to replace manual release processes.
  • Monitor data availability, quality, usability, latency, cost, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with product and program managers, engineers, and other decision makers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in operational responsibilities and ensure code is testable, maintainable, and operationally efficient.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
