Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to engineers working on semantic modeling, AI, and business intelligence.
- Architect and shape Looker’s agentic BI, conversational analytics, and self-learning platform capabilities.
- Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align priorities, gather requirements, and deliver against business objectives.
- Maintain reliability, security, and operational efficiency in large-scale distributed systems.
- Mentor and grow team members while fostering an empowered, innovative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, including data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with distributed systems, software architecture, and system design.
- Preferred: experience shipping zero-to-one AI applications with a holistic understanding of product, quality, and infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with data modeling, data analytics, and Google Cloud Platform.
