Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Provision and manage core GCP services including VPC, IAM, Google Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and automation.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for platform health.
- Collaborate with data engineers to understand infrastructure needs and provide support.
- Ensure security and compliance of the GCP environment by implementing best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and automating processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like Google Cloud Build and Jenkins.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
