Responsibilities
- Support the development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and deployment of frontend and backend software applications.
- Implement features and bug fixes from defined requirements and technical designs.
- Assist with system integrations, user and business requirement translation, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot software defects, maintain existing applications, and document technical resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and collaboration with engineering, technical, operations, and digital teams.
- Assist with data cleaning and validation and escalate technical issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle, software testing, debugging, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, with familiarity with React.js, Next.js, and NestJS.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB and familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, Heroku, Azure, and Linux/Bash environments.
- Exposure to Elixir/Phoenix is advantageous, along with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
