Responsibilities
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and configuration management for complex networked systems.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to streamline system automation.
- Collaborate with networking teams to enhance automation in switching, routing, security, and virtualization.
- Troubleshoot and optimize network configurations through automation tools and scripting.
- Work in a CI/CD environment, integrating automation into continuous deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and automation tools for system reliability.
- Implement and enhance security best practices in automated systems.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the networking field.
- 3+ years of Python development experience.
- Solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models.
- Experience with programmatic network interfaces (NETCONF, gNMI, and/or vendor APIs).
- Strong Python skills for automation.
- Basic understanding of network access and authentication mechanisms (AAA, TACACS+, RADIUS).
- Experience using AI tools to support automation development and troubleshooting is a plus.
