Responsibilities
- Contribute ideas during technical discussions and help develop resilient software systems.
- Design, test, and deploy features for WEX’s global financial technology platform.
- Pair with engineers to design, test, and ship high-impact features.
- Use advanced AI developer tools, generative AI, LLM tooling, and modern developer utilities.
- Participate in technical workshops, present demos, and collaborate across global technology teams.
- Learn new skills and incorporate direct technical feedback.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the penultimate or final year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid foundation in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Go.
- Interest in leveraging generative AI, LLM tooling, and modern developer utilities.
- Strong logical reasoning, curiosity, and interest in understanding system design from first principles.
- Proactive communication skills and willingness to seek and integrate technical feedback.
