Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and retire applications supporting manufacturing operations.
- Provide end-user support, including on-call service, issue resolution, and application usage assistance.
- Participate in application upgrades, testing, versioning, deployment, and validation.
- Maintain user guides, configuration details, troubleshooting procedures, and other application documentation.
- Collaborate with business counterparts, IT teams, and service suppliers on application integration and delivery.
- Identify process and application improvements aligned with manufacturing goals and business needs.
- Ensure application services comply with IT security policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external IT teams on annual plans and long-term developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 3 years of application development experience, particularly in manufacturing contexts.
- Strong proficiency in APEX programming and R&D tools such as Git.
- Intermediate knowledge of server operating systems, databases such as Oracle and MySQL, and cloud technologies.
- Oracle Forms knowledge is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development and improvement.
- Strong written and spoken German and English communication and cooperation skills.
