Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and retire applications supporting manufacturing operations.
- Provide end-user support, on-call service, issue resolution, and application troubleshooting.
- Participate in application upgrades, testing, versioning, deployment, and validation.
- Maintain user guides, configuration details, troubleshooting procedures, and other application documentation.
- Collaborate with business counterparts, IT teams, and service suppliers on application integration and annual plans.
- Identify process optimization opportunities and improve application functionality, performance, and business satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and applicable industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 3 years of application development experience, particularly in manufacturing contexts.
- Strong proficiency in APEX and familiarity with Git or similar R&D tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle Forms is advantageous.
- Intermediate skills with server operating systems, databases such as Oracle and MySQL, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development and improvement.
- Strong written and spoken communication and cooperation skills in German and English.
