Base Salary
$190k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize complex cybersecurity, network, cloud, and server infrastructure platforms.
- Decompose and allocate cybersecurity requirements into system architectures and enforce network security architecture.
- Design secure network topologies using segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust models.
- Develop installation and configuration documentation needed for Authorizations to Operate.
- Implement STIGs and develop Base Media solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks and execute POAMs.
- Collaborate on threat detection, mitigation, and incident-response strategies.
- Provide technical guidance on the X-BAT GCS cybersecurity stack and support cross-functional teams.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance through proactive design and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues and support Voice over IP implementation.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering, or a related IT field.
- At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering, cybersecurity, or network engineering roles.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
- Expertise in Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-63B, ISO 27001, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other enterprise networking hardware.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud networking and hybrid environments.
- Experience implementing Voice over IP solutions.
- Preferred certifications include CCIE, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes, OPA/Gatekeeper, workload identity, Terraform, Ansible, software-defined networking, network automation, classified-network architecture, and FedRAMP or DoD compliance.
