Responsibilities
- Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain AWS-based solutions for a distributed microservices architecture.
- Design and maintain Terraform scripts and infrastructure as code.
- Implement observability tools and services for application and cloud infrastructure monitoring.
- Monitor and examine application, performance, event, and system logs to troubleshoot issues.
- Secure AWS infrastructure using security tools and services.
- Collaborate with application teams across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Document environments and solutions in Confluence.
- Support critical production issues outside regular working hours.
Requirements
- Require 8–10 years of professional experience, including 5–6 years of hands-on AWS experience.
- Require experience with infrastructure as code and designing Terraform scripts.
- Require AWS administration experience across networking, security, compute, containers, databases, load balancing, and cloud-native services.
- Require familiarity with AWS security services including WAF, Network Firewall, Inspector, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
- Require experience with observability services including Prometheus, OpenSearch, and Grafana.
- Require knowledge of microservices architecture and disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.
- Require strong spoken and written English, communication, teamwork, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
- Require willingness to support critical production issues outside working hours.
