Base Salary
$165k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Bring up new RF silicon and power up chips for the first time.
- Design and build modular, reusable, production-ready low-level silicon driver libraries.
- Optimize software for timing, throughput, performance, and simplicity.
- Build hardware-in-the-loop/HTIL/HIL test platforms and automated integration and regression tests.
- Validate silicon driver software on physical hardware and FPGA emulators.
- Support software integration with flight software teams for satellite phased arrays and user terminals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- 5+ years of professional development experience in C, C++, or Python.
- Professional experience developing, debugging, and deploying software used in real-world applications or projects.
- Knowledge of electronics, mathematics, physics, and RF communication systems.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit-testing skills.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting embedded software with power supplies, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with schematics, PCB layouts, FPGA design, HDLs such as SystemVerilog, and low-level register access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical milestones.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $165,000.00-$270,000.00, with potential stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
