Responsibilities
- Develop features across frameworks, APIs, UI, operating-system services, and drivers from concept through shipping.
- Build Wi‑Fi features for iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.
- Create AI-powered internal systems to accelerate bug fixing, improve code quality, and enhance engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with design, performance, security, and privacy teams.
- Perform hands-on software development and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing software with Objective-C, Swift, C, or C++.
- Deep understanding of operating systems, including processes, filesystems, and memory management.
- Experience using AI to improve software features or development workflows.
- Strong understanding of networking and the TCP/IP protocol suite.
- Hands-on expertise with GDB and shell scripting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Preferred: experience developing inter-process communication libraries.
- Preferred: knowledge of IEEE 802.11/Wi‑Fi protocols and standards, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
- Preferred: experience developing on Apple platforms with Xcode.
- Preferred: experience with secure coding practices.
