Responsibilities
- Lead technical processes, software designs, and end-to-end application architectures with attention to reliability, scalability, maintainability, data integrity, and performance.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.
- Lead architecture and design discussions and align technical solutions with business goals.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across teams.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, QA, DevOps, Product Management, architects, and business stakeholders on product and project deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce software development best practices, and implement corporate technology standards.
- Define scalability and performance criteria, tune applications, and address production issues.
- Verify test plans against performance and security requirements and monitor controls to mitigate risk.
- Research and evaluate technologies, contribute to solution design, and support technical and business presentations.
- Estimate module and project costs and develop solutions balancing cost, delivery, and business requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience designing and developing Java-based applications and comprehensive application architectures.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and lead architecture and design discussions.
- Experience with application scalability, performance tuning, reliability, security, privacy, and maintainability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Strong communication, ethical judgment, and risk-management skills.
