Responsibilities
- Develop Kotlin and/or Java web applications supporting online authentication for millions of users.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into software.
- Assist with software architecture improvements and maintain reusable solution patterns and software components.
- Improve standards and guidelines for using shared patterns and components.
- Own the full application lifecycle, including deployments and DevOps responsibilities.
- Participate in agile team practices, product discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Build secure software and contribute to authentication platform reliability and safety.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience using Kotlin and/or Java 8+ to develop web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to learn and work with Kotlin.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and unit testing.
- Knowledge or experience with one or more of Spring Boot, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, GitLab, PostgreSQL, OIDC, SAML, QA, AWS, GCP, Angular, Linux, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Interest in explaining technical concepts, participating in discussions, and sharing knowledge.
