Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated API test frameworks.
- Create and execute automated integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end API tests.
- Validate RESTful APIs, request/response contracts, authentication flows, and business logic using Swagger and Postman.
- Perform backend validation with databases, logs, and monitoring tools to investigate and debug distributed-system issues.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Configure and maintain Allure Report and Allure TestOps integrations for reporting, analytics, and test management.
- Improve test coverage, framework maintainability, reporting, and execution performance.
- Participate in code reviews and quality initiatives while advocating for automation best practices and API reliability.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, DevOps, product teams, and DS&AI teams.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of QA automation experience with a strong focus on API and backend testing.
- Hands-on experience with API automation and scalable test automation framework development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and complex backend workflows.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Allure Reports and Allure TestOps.
- Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JMeter.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, or message brokers for backend validation.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills using logs and monitoring systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Python applications and high-level knowledge of AI and ML projects are nice to have.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, clean-code, and continuous-improvement skills.
