Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable frontend user interfaces and experiences integrated with backend services.
- Drive frontend technical strategy and establish best practices for high-performance, maintainable UI architectures.
- Partner with customers to understand technical requirements, answer complex questions, and design reusable scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver responsive user experiences across devices and platforms.
- Improve engineering standards, frontend architecture, tooling, development processes, and product quality.
- Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote high-quality reusable frontend code.
- Build and evolve reusable UI components and shared libraries.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions, project milestones, and development progress to technical and business stakeholders.
- Influence product and engineering roadmaps by identifying opportunities to improve user experience, scalability, and platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 6+ years of related experience.
- Advanced proficiency building responsive and scalable web applications with React.
- Experience with AJAX, XML, JSON, and best-practice design patterns.
- Familiarity with UX principles and site performance optimization.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with automated testing and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to technical discussions.
- Experience integrating commerce and CMS platforms is preferred.
