Base Salary
$148k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work on network security initiatives including Internet edge proxies and Web Application Firewall.
- Architect and build services that enhance system security with scalability in mind.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to promote a shared security responsibility model.
- Embed security best practices across all infrastructure components.
- Develop essential services like the credential management service for secure secrets distribution.
Requirements
- Solid experience with a high-level programming language, preferably Python or Go.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and TLS.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other major cloud providers.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container security.
- Knowledge of cryptography and key/certificate distribution.
- Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively with team members.
