Base Salary
$250k - $413k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Account Settings experiences, including privacy, notifications, profiles, viewing history, parental controls, and managed download devices.
- Develop new-member onboarding flows for profile creation, account identifiers, streaming interests, and language preferences.
- Contribute across frontend client experiences and Java-based backend services, owning features from UI through APIs and services.
- Partner with stakeholder teams through the Account Settings and Onboarding Hub-and-Spoke model to shape shared design systems and technical rails.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to ship experiments and member-facing features.
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and participate in discussions about system design, reliability, and long-term health of shared high-traffic surfaces.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally spanning frontend and backend systems.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Java skills.
- Experience owning features end-to-end and integrating frontend applications with backend APIs such as GraphQL or REST.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment on high-traffic surfaces and communicate and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Bonus knowledge of GraphQL graph design, Android/Kotlin, and iOS/Swift.
