Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the assigned software codebase using project documentation.
- Design, develop, document, and test software code.
- Collaborate within a multi-developer Agile team and pair program with experienced developers.
- Research and use emerging technologies across websites, applications, servers, and databases.
- Contribute to software solutions supporting Airbus satellite projects and stakeholder digitalization.
Requirements
- Remain an undergraduate for the full 13-month placement and provide the expected graduation date.
- Study toward a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Demonstrate understanding of object-oriented principles.
- Have a solid foundation in C# or Java.
- Have knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Show interest in programming and technology, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders.
- Submit a CV and cover letter explaining motivation and suitability.
- Meet applicable BPSS, UK SC-level security clearance, or export-control requirements depending on the role.
