Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in software architecture and engineering approaches to support customer mission success.
- Support software acquisition activities from pre-acquisition planning through source selection, development, deployment, and beyond.
- Apply model-driven development, software systems architecture and design, data analysis, enterprise systems, digital engineering, and related techniques.
- Develop analytical tools and models and perform technical assessments of requirements, architectures, designs, and code.
- Assess risks associated with design trade-offs, development approaches, schedules, and plans.
- Participate in engineering studies, readiness reviews, technology planning and insertion, performance assessments, and market research.
- Research challenge problems, test hypotheses, prototype new approaches, and prove concepts.
- Present technical findings to government officials and other stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff while developing professional expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related technical discipline.
- General knowledge of software development lifecycles with demonstrated experience in one or two areas such as requirements, modeling, architecture/design, or testing.
- Familiarity with object-oriented coding practices and the ability to read commonly used languages including Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with software modeling and model-based systems engineering practices, basic DevOps practices, code branching strategies, and automation servers such as Jenkins.
- Ability to organize software product requirements and assess requirements, software architectures, designs, code, risks, schedules, and plans.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include relevant technology certifications, cybersecurity and DevSecOps knowledge, software architecture design experience, data visualization experience using Cameo models, and familiarity with AI development concepts.
- Willingness to travel overnight domestically approximately 10% as needed.
