Responsibilities
- Own and operate core IT infrastructure including servers, storage, backup, virtualization, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, and update IT systems and management tools.
- Ensure service availability, redundancy, and capacity in a 24/7 production environment.
- Provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for production, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
- Maintain operational procedures, network topologies, system inventories, and service documentation.
- Develop security, backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy strategies.
- Coordinate with vendors, system administrators, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell, Bash, and Python across on-premises and restricted cloud environments.
- Support software build, packaging, installation, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and release activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in System Engineering, System Administration, DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, or a hybrid technical role.
- Hands-on experience with server management, storage, backup solutions, virtualization, and infrastructure operations.
- Experience providing 2nd/3rd level support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across development, build, test, and production environments.
- Experience with software build, packaging, installation, and deployment activities.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting firewall and VPN infrastructures.
- Experience supporting system and application layers, including Web Services, Microsoft SQL Server, and related business applications.
- Fluent written and spoken English with disciplined documentation and communication skills.
- Residence in Ankara or willingness to relocate to Ankara.
- Preferred experience with Azure Boards, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, automated build and deployment, MSI, Advanced Installer, npm, NuGet, Azure Artifacts, Nexus, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, monitoring, logging, code-quality or security-scanning tools, and air-gapped or on-premises environments.
- Willingness to travel abroad when required.
