Responsibilities
- Design and ship end-to-end agentic workflows with orchestration, retries, guardrails, and evaluation harnesses.
- Build evaluation loops that identify agent failures before production.
- Develop retrieval infrastructure, including indexing strategy, ranking, relevance tuning, and retrieval-quality diagnosis.
- Integrate MCP servers and APIs into agent-based system designs.
- Build systems for content synchronization, personalization, and efficient human review of AI-generated content.
- Partner throughout development with Product Management, Product Marketing, Support, enablement, and field teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant software engineering experience with hands-on work building agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, or similar retrieval-augmented applications.
- Experience designing modular, scalable AI agents across disparate data sources while avoiding technical debt.
- Experience mapping end-to-end agentic workflows and mitigating failure modes before production.
- Experience with search or retrieval infrastructure, including indexing, ranking, or relevance tuning.
- Familiarity with API integration and/or MCP server integration in agent-based systems.
- Ability to collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders and translate content needs into technical systems.
- Strong judgment regarding when AI output requires human review versus autonomous release.
- Experience in a fast-moving product company, content or documentation pipelines, developer enablement tooling, knowledge-management systems, code-documentation drift detection, or LLM-agent evaluation frameworks is preferred.
