Responsibilities
- Implement features across software components including robot localization, drivers, and infrastructure.
- Test and evaluate approaches from research publications and open-source releases.
- Test and deploy navigation software on real robots in designated test environments.
- Help integrate a new remote control system into the CURttrac track-drive robot.
- Investigate the use of visual odometry in the localization solution.
Requirements
- Valid enrollment at a German university or Hochschule.
- Background in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, autonomous systems, or a similar field.
- Some experience with C++ and Linux.
- Enthusiasm for mobile robotics.
- Fluency in English or German.
