Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Build services that meet high availability and latency standards.
- Set technical standards through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams for integrated solutions.
- Enhance engineering processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Improve operational excellence with metrics and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable cloud-based systems.
- Backend service experience in languages like Java, Scala, Go, or C#.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL data stores and queue services.
- Passion for software engineering and open source technologies.
- Desire to delight end users and tackle novel challenges.
