Base Salary

$140k - $190k/yr

Responsibilities

Embed with users on-site to observe workflows and understand their operational context.
Rapidly prototype and iterate on product capabilities based on user needs.
Write high-quality production code that extends the Method platform.
Identify and validate valuable, repeatable workflows through working software.
Communicate hypotheses, tradeoffs, and blockers clearly with the engineering team.
Navigate access controls, environmental restrictions, and security requirements to build trusted customer relationships.
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Security Engineers, and Mission Operations to turn prototypes into scalable product abstractions.

Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems.
Ability to quickly understand new domains, customer workflows, and operational environments.
Demonstrated experience owning projects end-to-end from discovery through deployment.
Excellent concise written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Preferred exposure to distributed systems, backend development, or full-stack engineering.
Preferred interest or experience in security competitions, CTFs, secure facilities, constrained deployments, forward-deployed engineering, field engineering, or embedded engineering.

The role involves on-site customer embedding and work in secure or constrained deployment environments.
Base salary range is $140,000-$190,000.
