Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, test, implement, and release AI model deployment tools and infrastructure for DSPs, NPUs, CPUs, and heterogeneous SoCs.
- Build end-to-end workflows spanning model development, optimization, hardware-specific architecture, and deployment on embedded platforms.
- Develop hardware-aware model design and architecture-mapping techniques for DSP operations, NPU features, and mixed-precision computation.
- Implement model compilation and optimization pipelines for quantization, pruning, layer fusion, and hardware-specific code generation.
- Prototype agentic AI workflows for automated model-hardware co-optimization, architecture search, and adaptive deployment.
- Collaborate with an Advanced AI tooling team to enable embedded engineers and research scientists to deploy AI solutions on ADI hardware.
Requirements
- Strong embedded systems and computer architecture experience with bare-metal, RTOS, or embedded Linux environments.
- End-to-end AI/ML model development experience spanning training, optimization, and embedded deployment.
- Experience with hardware-aware neural architecture design and model optimization for specific processor architectures.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, including firmware and low-level software development.
- Deep understanding of neural-network quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation, and resource-constrained optimization.
- Knowledge of neural-network accelerators such as NPUs and DSPs and efficient execution on heterogeneous hardware.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, TVM, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, debuggers, profilers, SDKs, and system configuration tools.
- Understanding of CNN, DNN, and Transformer architectures and their embedded implementation.
- Preferred experience includes hardware-software co-design, custom operators, neural architecture search, digital signal processing, FPGA development, compiler optimization, Zephyr RTOS, open-source ecosystems, and ARM, RISC-V, DSP, or custom SoC architectures.

- Expected wage range is $121,600 to $167,200, with a discretionary performance-based bonus.
