Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of major full-stack features and complex services with cross-team or cross-product impact.
  • Develop secure, testable, scalable, reliable, and maintainable frontend and backend applications.
  • Implement system integrations and reliable data models for distributed components.
  • Ensure applications are cloud-ready and compatible with established delivery workflows.
  • Own technical decisions for complex initiatives by evaluating performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability trade-offs.
  • Use AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, and documentation while applying sound engineering judgment.
  • Serve as a technical leader for delivery teams and influence architecture, design, and implementation decisions without formal authority.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with product, design, QA, security, and platform teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent IT experience.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular and with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience building backend services and APIs with .NET, Java, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle, and integrations.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP acceptable.
  • Experience with containerization such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Professional experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
  • Healthcare or other regulated-environment experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards or enterprise healthcare platforms such as Epic is preferred.
  • Ability to balance architectural quality with delivery speed and business value in dynamic environments.
