Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and support software development used to modernize systems.
- Develop back-end systems, custom tools, web applications, APIs, and scalable solutions.
- Identify potential risks and contribute to solution development.
- Create efficient systems with consistent performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance existing code samples.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- At least 3 years of Python programming experience.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with hypervisors or virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMware, or Proxmox is preferred.
- Experience with server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, and core application systems is preferred.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, client requirements, and workflow automation is preferred.
