Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate production backend systems with real-world impact.
- Design relational data models and work with databases at scale.
- Develop APIs, distributed systems, and performant backend services.
- Build core services for hiring, scheduling, workforce optimization, digital experiences, growth channels, and communications.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data, care operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Evolve systems from design through operation and contribute to technical and product decisions.
- Share knowledge, mentor others, and support a healthy, inclusive engineering culture.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical partners.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with a track record of building and operating production systems.
- Experience designing relational data models and working with databases at scale.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with API design, distributed systems, and backend performance considerations.
- Proficiency in Python or transferable backend experience with willingness to learn Python.
- Strong collaboration, communication, mentoring, and ownership skills.
