Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
- Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes.
- Collaborate with account managers and partners to enhance customer experience.
- Provide technical leadership on storage products and architectures.
- Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
- Deliver technical product presentations to customers.
- Translate customer requirements into innovative solutions.
- Identify new opportunities for testing and validation.
- Liaise with marketing to produce supporting materials.
- Stay updated on competition and market trends.
- Promote thought leadership within the organization.
- Exemplify company values of persistence, creativity, teamwork, ownership, and customer-first.
Requirements
- Pre-sales experience is required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based solutions.
- Experience selling into the DoD is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern web architecture is a plus.
- Experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
- Ability to contribute to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures.
- Experience with Linux and distributed network environments.
- Knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and microservices architectures is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
