Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and enhance Android mobile applications and cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Design and ship secure, scalable solutions while guiding architecture within the role’s domain.
- Drive automation, comprehensive testing, CI/CD, observability, performance improvements, reliability, and technical-debt reduction.
- Use GitHub Copilot in accordance with software development best practices.
- Lead project-level risk assessments, define mitigation plans, and embed security and privacy by design.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements and partner with Compliance and Audit.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and partner teams while communicating status, risks, and decisions.
Requirements
- Experience developing mobile applications on the Android platform.
- Experience integrating Android applications with Java-based backend services in a cloud and containerized environment.
- Experience in financial services or technology is ideal.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Ability to manage project risks, make data-driven trade-offs, and influence cross-functional outcomes.
