Base Salary
$185k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build Android experiences for plugins, connectors, and interactive apps within ChatGPT.
- Develop reusable Android components and interfaces for developer-built experiences.
- Connect native mobile experiences with APIs, SDKs, and backend systems in partnership with platform engineers.
- Work with developers and partners to identify integration challenges and improve mobile development workflows.
- Improve application performance, reliability, architecture, testing, and developer tooling.
- Own projects from initial requirements through release, measurement, and iteration.
Requirements
- Deep experience building Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
- Experience shipping consumer-facing mobile products at scale with strong attention to performance, quality, and user experience.
- Ability to design reusable interfaces and abstractions for other developers.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design and work directly with developers and partners.
- Interest in AI-powered tools and extensible mobile experiences.
- Ability to help define product and technical direction in a fast-moving environment.
