Responsibilities
- Own, enhance, and improve Finout’s core platform.
- Build and maintain systems for collecting and processing metrics from client environments.
- Improve system efficiency and resilient infrastructure.
- Integrate cloud providers and SaaS platforms such as Datadog and Snowflake into Finout’s big-data repository.
- Optimize Spark and Airflow processes.
- Contribute to data design and platform architecture while collaborating with business units and engineering teams.
- Test and monitor large-scale data pipelines.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale, high-availability systems.
- 7+ years of experience with Python.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, and big-data technologies including Spark, Airflow, S3, Snowflake, and EMR.
- Experience with Go is a plus.
- Familiarity with metrics systems such as Prometheus and cloud monitoring APIs, or with time-series data, is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated, autodidactic team player with strong communication skills and a passion for solving challenges at scale.
