Responsibilities
- Develop web or mobile application features.
- Build APIs and microservices.
- Automate testing and deployment pipelines.
- Deploy applications to cloud environments.
- Optimize application performance and reliability.
- Participate in community service, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking, leadership sessions, and the Intern Innovation Challenge.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Expected graduation date between September 2027 and August 2028.
- Preferred leadership experience through student organizations, sports, school activities, or work-related projects.
- Preferred internship, work, or project experience in healthcare technology or a related field.
- Preferred strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and growth-mindset skills.
- Preferred project management experience and interest in pursuing a full-time CVS Health role after graduation.
- Preferred experience or strong interest in application, web/mobile, API, integration, platform development, AI, automation, generative AI, and low-code/no-code tools.
Benefits
- Hybrid schedule with three days generally in the office and two days working remotely; office locations are Hartford, CT, Dallas, TX, Scottsdale, AZ, and Woonsocket, RI.
- 10.5-week full-time internship running May 24, 2027 through August 4, 2027, with 40 hours per week.
- Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving more than 50 miles.
