Responsibilities
- Design and develop client connectivity platforms and ultra-low-latency Java solutions.
- Own end-to-end delivery of prioritized connectivity workstreams.
- Translate business requirements and apply coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Collaborate with business, development, QA, infrastructure, production support, and external teams.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing post-implementation support and enhancements.
- Build relationships across global technology areas and leverage global tools and technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in low-latency Java development.
- Experience building ultra-low-latency platforms and client connectivity applications.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, FIX Protocol, binary protocols, and Unix/Linux.
- Good understanding of electronic trading, financial markets, and trading environments.
- Experience with Open HFT and Chronicle is a plus.
- Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and Bitbucket.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
