Base Salary
$142k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own backend product capabilities, API surfaces, and authentication flows for Stytch’s identity platform on Twilio.
- Develop identity capabilities for authentication, authorization, and agentic and non-human identity use cases.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction, translate customer needs into product capabilities, and deliver roadmap features.
- Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams on architecture, platform integration, and cross-team initiatives.
- Author design documents, drive technical decisions, review code, and maintain ownership of shipped systems.
- Improve production quality and resilience through observability, incident response, and remediation.
- Mentor and support engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, mission-critical cloud-based production systems.
- Experience working with a production-grade codebase in a modern programming language and applying coding best practices.
- Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekend and holiday on-call rotations.
- Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, and DynamoDB is desired.
- Experience building developer tools or SDKs is desired.
- Experience building and owning products consumed by paying customers is desired.
