Responsibilities
- Integrate embedded software components into target systems, including microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
- Design and execute verification tests against technical specifications and performance requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects; analyze root causes and verify fixes with developers.
- Develop and operate automated testing and result-analysis tools.
- Improve embedded testing methodologies, automation, and toolchains.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and validation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Preferably three years of experience in embedded software integration, verification, or development.
- Hands-on experience with automated and manual embedded software integration and testing.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Python, Bash, JTAG, and GDB.
- Familiarity with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Embassy, RTIC, and Linux.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary software, hardware, and systems teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English; French or Dutch is a plus.
