Responsibilities
- Extend Circle’s in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization.
- Build and own scalable Go microservices and reliable, secure APIs for transferring value and assets across blockchain and banking protocols.
- Design, test, document, and maintain system procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Build publicly accessible APIs and integrate platform services with banks and financial technologies.
- Develop infrastructure for payment experiences, including SQL or NoSQL data sources and messaging systems.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions and restore normal operation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams and consult with management on system principles.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Go web frameworks such as Gin and Fasthttp and Go development tools such as go mod and golint.
- Understanding of API design and REST principles, including the ability to derive and communicate sound designs.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with SQL databases and schema design.
- Experience deploying production-quality, scalable software.
- Commitment to coding standards, code quality, and strong test coverage.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar languages and technologies and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
