Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support C# and .NET applications and services.
- Develop and support integrations between AWS services and on-premises applications, APIs, and databases.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and service-to-service integrations.
- Use AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and IAM in .NET applications.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues across AWS and on-premises environments.
- Work with SQL Server and SQL-based data integrations.
- Implement secure and reliable communication using authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, error handling, and resiliency patterns.
- Write automated tests and maintain clean code within a shared codebase.
- Use Infrastructure as Code to deploy and maintain AWS resources.
- Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, business partners, and other technical teams.
- Recommend improvements to application reliability, maintainability, and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong professional experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
- Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, or system integrations.
- Professional experience developing or supporting applications in AWS.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and modern software development practices.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably SQL Server.
- Experience with automated testing, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, SAM, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Experience with containerized .NET applications, serverless or event-driven architectures, API security, or production application monitoring.
