Responsibilities
- Own the VCU software lifecycle from requirements analysis to field support.
- Define and maintain system and software requirements and architecture.
- Translate vehicle-level requirements into clear, testable software requirements.
- Develop and optimize VCU application software using MATLAB/Simulink and embedded C/C++.
- Integrate application software with AUTOSAR Classic components.
- Perform code reviews, static analysis, and performance optimization.
- Define and execute unit, integration, and HIL test strategies.
- Automate build, test, and reporting workflows within CI/CD pipelines.
- Support bench and vehicle integration and diagnose hardware/software issues.
- Coordinate technical decisions and document assumptions and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Experience developing embedded software for automotive or safety-critical systems.
- Strong skills in embedded C/C++ and real-time systems.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for model-based design.
- Understanding of vehicle control concepts and safety mechanisms.
- Experience with in-vehicle networks and diagnostics protocols.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic architecture and verification methods.
- Proficiency with version control, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
