Base Salary
$62k - $70k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom web applications and digital solutions for UTIA faculty, staff, students, and units.
- Gather requirements, evaluate technology options, design solutions, and partner with ITS colleagues and campus clients.
- Build, test, troubleshoot, deploy, and support applications that meet functionality, accessibility, security, quality, and branding standards.
- Create efficient web-based processes and forms using Microsoft tools and support data centralization efforts.
- Lead small- to medium-scoped IT projects, including scope, timelines, priorities, and progress reporting.
- Document processes and procedures, provide regular project updates, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Three years of .NET application development may substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement.
- Knowledge of .NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, MS SQL, web design, data integration, and basic database administration.
- Demonstrated ability to build and test applications, solve problems, conceptualize technical solutions, and apply quality, accessibility, and security standards.
- Experience using Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Microsoft 365 tools, and intermediate Microsoft products.
- Ability to document technical processes for technical and non-technical audiences and work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred qualifications include higher education experience, five years of progressive professional experience, two years designing Microsoft 365 solutions, and three years developing .NET applications.
- Preferred qualifications include programming ability in .NET, C#, or JavaScript; Microsoft 365 solution development; and knowledge of Git.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
