Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand software requirements, specifications, and user stories.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, test tools, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, investigate and reproduce defects, and verify fixes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support test execution within build and release processes.
- Document test results, defects, test coverage, and quality metrics.
- Apply software testing and automation best practices and contribute to improving team processes and tools.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in testing, development, or test automation, including relevant internship or graduate experience.
- Basic programming experience in Python.
- Experience creating and executing manual or automated test cases.
- Understanding of testing principles.
- Exposure to Raspberry Pi, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration testing.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments, scripting, automated tests or automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD test integration, Git or other source-control systems, and defect-tracking or test-management tools is valued.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and collaboration skills, plus willingness to learn new technologies.
