Base Salary
$115k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with strategic customers and partners to onboard, integrate, and optimize solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Architect and deploy GPU, HPC, and AI infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Slurm, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks.
- Build automated solutions for cluster provisioning, software deployment, infrastructure as code, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Define and validate solutions for high-performance computing, AI, and accelerated-computing requirements.
- Support LLM-based applications, agentic AI systems, and robotic AI platforms from architecture through production readiness.
- Advise customers, partners, sales teams, support teams, and engineering organizations on technical solutions.
- Document risks, design gaps, dependencies, infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and lessons learned.
- Author technical collateral, reference architectures, deployment guides, and repeatable implementation patterns.
- Partner with OCI engineering teams to influence product direction and integrate new OCI services into customer-ready solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and availability issues; participate in incidents, remediation, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Improve processes, procedures, and change-management practices while serving as a technical escalation path and customer advocate.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in architecture, operations, and/or systems engineering.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cloud foundations, networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.
- Recent experience designing or deploying infrastructure and high-performance computing, including GPU technology, or experience with a major public cloud such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
- Hands-on Linux administration experience with Oracle Linux, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian, including package management, shell scripting, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, documentation, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, Java, or Scala.
- Preferred: technical writing and presentation experience, including blogs, white papers, or other technical collateral.
- Preferred: demonstrated improvement of customer service uptime or satisfaction.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of consulting or customer interaction experience, including work with architects and C-level stakeholders.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Prometheus.
- Preferred: strong high-performance computing experience and knowledge of GPU technology.
