Base Salary

$103k - $128k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the observability and lifecycle management of AI features across the organization.
  • Build tools and infrastructure to enable teams to develop, monitor, and optimize LLM-powered features.
  • Design and implement closed-loop evaluation pipelines that automatically validate prompt changes.
  • Develop comprehensive metrics and dashboards to track LLM usage, including cost per feature and latency.
  • Create systems that tie user feedback to specific prompts and LLM calls.
  • Establish best practices for the full lifecycle of prompts: development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure they have the tools and visibility needed for high-quality AI features.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend engineering, DevOps, ML Ops, or SRE work.
  • Proficient in at least one back-end programming language, ideally Go.
  • Hands-on experience with observability, metrics, and monitoring systems.
  • Strong understanding of percentiles and ability to build meaningful dashboards.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Ability to think in terms of pipelines, lifecycles, and closed loops.
  • Produce high-quality work that contributes to the state of the art.
  • Effective asynchronous communicator across various mediums.
  • Demonstrate start-to-finish ownership of outcomes.
  • Exhibit a bias to action and a growth mindset.
