Base Salary
$135k - $154k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test operating-systems-level software, compilers, network distribution software, and related tools.
- Develop software and tools supporting operating systems, infrastructure, technology platforms, databases, cloud-based tools, and Internet-related tools.
- Design software enhancements and new products, validate features before release, and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through unit and integration testing.
- Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design while applying engineering principles and computer science techniques.
- Work on complex systems-level software problems under limited supervision and select appropriate development and evaluation methods.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with C, C++, or Python; object-oriented design; Unix or Linux environments; data structures; algorithms; operating systems concepts; and multithreaded programming.
- Experience debugging software in macOS, Linux, or Unix environments.
- Knowledge or experience in machine learning.
- Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.
