Responsibilities
- Build and optimize core autonomy software including planning algorithms and collision avoidance systems.
- Implement efficient data structures for tree search and develop cost evaluation functions.
- Work on components like trajectory validators and collision checkers.
- Develop algorithms for motion planning in degraded states to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with experts across various teams to improve strategic decision-making capabilities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., or advanced degree in a relevant engineering program.
- Must return to school after completing the internship.
- Good academic standing is required.
- Able to commit to a 12-week internship starting in May or June of 2026.
- At least one previous industry internship or relevant project experience is necessary.
- Willingness to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the internship duration.
Benefits
- Monthly salary range of $5,500 to $9,500 based on location and education level.
