Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain SAP S/4HANA and BTP integrations with downstream systems across their full lifecycle.
- Write ABAP, SAP HANA SQL, and CDS views for business logic, reporting, and data transformation.
- Build SAP APIs using OData, RAP, REST, SOAP, and RFC-based interfaces.
- Develop and operate AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/Fargate, and Amazon ECR.
- Deploy and manage integration infrastructure using CDK, including CI/CD pipelines, IAM roles, VPC/VPCE connectivity, and multi-environment topologies.
- Build agentic AI systems using MCP servers, Bedrock agents, and Claude-powered workflows to automate Finance operations.
- Build data pipelines moving financial data between SAP, Redshift, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Own production systems through deployment, monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Improve team engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
Requirements
- At least four years of hands-on SAP development experience with ABAP, HANA SQL, CDS views, BTP, or SAP integration technologies such as BAPIs and RFC.
- Experience building file-based and API-based integrations using REST, OData, and SOAP.
- Experience with the S/4HANA top-down development approach, including CDS views and AMDP classes.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating production workloads on AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, IAM, and API Gateway.
- Proficiency in at least one modern language beyond ABAP, such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java, with production code experience.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Demonstrated extensive use of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Bedrock in engineering workflows.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, working with REST API services, automation, and version control tools.
- Experience testing and debugging APIs with tools such as Bruno or Postman.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 authorization flows and OpenID Connect for securing API integrations.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Finance domain knowledge, including FI/CO, FI/CA, AP, AR, or GL.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience building production AI-powered automations or agentic workflows, including MCP servers, Bedrock agents, or LangGraph, is preferred.
- Experience building Fiori applications with the RESTful ABAP Programming Model is preferred.
