Base Salary
$200k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural leadership for a complex, highly integrated software system.
- Lead challenging software development and implementation efforts.
- Lead system-level integration and validation.
- Provide technical project management from project conception through production when required by project scope.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, process engineering, and technical executive teams.
- Drive system capability and performance improvements and advance Freeform’s technology.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing complex software systems using C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience in robotics, IoT, autonomous cars, UAVs, or similar autonomy-centric environments.
- Experience working in high-performance compute environments using FPGAs or GPUs.
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with edge computing, high-speed data acquisition, real-time closed-loop control systems, or hardware acceleration for machine learning or artificial intelligence is preferred.
- Startup or leading-edge technology experience and the ability to apply first-principles reasoning to complex problems are preferred.
