Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions that automate and improve data-center network management.
- Build platform products and tooling for network planning, deployment, change management, verification, and analytics across the network engineering lifecycle.
- Develop automated network changes and deployment capabilities.
- Maintain strong code and design quality through code reviews and disciplined development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and ARP protocols.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and other front-end technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Python, Go, C, C++, or Rust.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database principles, programming, and optimization.
- Preferred experience with network automation deployment and automated change development.
- Experience with Robotron, Apstra, or Forward Networks is a plus.
- Familiarity with OTN, switch devices, and their management and control protocols is a plus.
